Frank Vitz and David Martin have been making music together since 2004.
David and Frank met by chance in 2004—two next door neighbors on a quiet cul de sac in West Vancouver. They soon discovered that they shared a passion for making music. Over the years they have developed their own unique sound with tight vocal harmonies and intertwining guitar lines. They enjoy playing a wide range of styles from Neil Young to Nick Drake, along with a generous helping of original songs inspired by their life in the land of Sea to Sky.
While their music is mainly acoustic, Frank and David like to leverage their knowledge of modern technology in their quest for the perfect sound. They call their combined resources Cul De Sac Studios. ‘The Cave’ in David's basement is where they focus on their high fidelity recording sessions. ‘The Oculus’ next door at Frank's house is where they host live jam sessions with the Cul de Sac band and friends.
